My career as a gunsmith started in 1982 where straight after leaving school I started at East Grinstead Guns Ltd, also known as Sorrell Brothers. Here I got my grounding in gunsmithing over 14 Years until moving on to work for Rayward Gunsmithsfor just over 12 years, firstly at Redhill, Surrey, then moving on to manage the workshop at the more exclusive shop in Knightsbridge, London where the range of guns are vast.

I have worked on numerous makes and calibres of shotguns, from the basic single barrel .410g to your top quality 12g side by side English Gun i.e J Purdey, Holland & Holland, Boss & Co, William Evans and all the top English Gun Makers.

My work can vary from a basic service to a complete restoration to bring new life into your pride and joy, whether it is a Biakal or your top English Gun. I like to think that everyman’s Biakal is their Purdey, and I treat all guns equally in my workmanship. I thought it was time, after all these years, to start a small business doing the job that I love and enjoy since leaving school.
